DynaMedex

Set up your DynaMed and Micromedex personal account to earn CME, personalize and, take trusted clinical information on the go. 

  1. Access DynaMedex from the Queen’s campus (when you’re onsite, so it recognizes you coming from a Queen’s IP address, subscription/access is free) to register for your new user account: DynaMedex
  2. Click “Create Account” and complete the brief form, then click “Register” to submit.
  3. Use your personal account to then sign into www.dynamedex.com anywhere anytime, and download the mobile app for iOS or android to begin accessing DynaMedex from your mobile device.

Set-up Remote User Access to UpToDate

Step 1: Sign up or Login to UpToDate. You must be onsite at a QHS location when you create your new user account or login. This allows you to access the institutional subscription to UpToDate that QHS has made available to you. 

Step 2: Follow the prompts to enter your user information and create your account. UpToDate should automatically recognize you from within the Queen's network.

Step 3: Each time you access UpToDate, log in under the Sign in/ Register link with your UpToDate user name and password (or via your EHR) to accumulate CME and maintain uninterrupted remote and mobile access. NOTE: If you do not see your name and CME tally on the top right of the screen, then click Sign in.

Web Access

  1. Users can access their resources directly within the uCentral website via IP authentication. End users can access the content password-free within the IP addresses provided.

  2. Please post this link to your intranet for easy access: http://www.unboundmedicine.com/ucentral

Personal Account Creation

  1. If a user would like to utilize uCentral off campus or download onto a mobile or tablet, they will need to create a username and password while within the network. Once on the uCentral website, a user can register their own username and password by clicking on "Register a free account" in the right hand corner. Follow the directions to create your login information.

Mobile App Download Installation

  1. Each user can download uCentral to one smartphone and one tablet. We are compatible with Android and Apple devices. Once a user has registered a uCentral account on the web, please have users follow the below instructions:

  • Make sure the device is connected to a WiFi network

  • Open the App Store on the device and search for uCentral

  • Select and download the application

  • Once downloaded, open the uCentral app and enter your credentials
