C.R. MOFFITT

Dr. C. R. Moffitt's name first appears on the passenger list of the "D. C. Murray" which arrived in Honolulu on June 26, 1875. On the manifest he is listed as an American citizen, aged 26. This is another doctor about whom almost nothing is known except that he practiced on Maui for about two years, 1875-1877. His office was in Wailuku and he also saw patients in Lahaina on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.

On July 10, 1877, Dr. Moffitt died at Dallas City, Illinois, at the home of his uncle.
