Dr. Florentino Alabanza was born in Bagaio City, Philippines on March 24, 1940. He graduated from The University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine. His residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was at Emory University, Atlanta Geogia. Dr. Alabanza was board certified in his specialty in 1971.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the medical corps on the mainland and ended his service at Tripler Army Medical Center on Oahu. He was promoted to the rank of Colonel in 1980.
Dr. Alabanza began his practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology with offices in Waipahu and Nuuanu/Kalihi areas in 1985. He received privileges at Kuakini Hospital in 1985.
Dr. Alabanza died on December 30, 1994.
