WILLIAM WONG LUKE AHANA


William Wong Luke Ahana was born on August 8, 1901 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in 1925. He was licensed in Missouri in July 1925 and received his Hawaii licensure in November 1925.

Dr. Ahana specialized in radiology. He was a member of the Honolulu County Medical Society and the American Medical Association. He was granted Life membership in the Honolulu County Medical Society in 1961.

He served as a member of the St. Louis University Hawaii Alumni Steering Committee for the l50th anniversary development program. He retired from practice in 1975.

Dr. Ahana died on December 30, 1985 in his home. He was survived by his wife, Beatrice M.; a son, William Jr. and two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Judith) Boohar and Audrey W. Ahana; and five grandchildren.
