The Mamiya Medical Heritage Center was established in July 1999 by Richard T. Mamiya, M.D. It houses the Hawaii Medical Library's archives, medical museum, and special collections. The collections contain books, photos, medical instruments, organizational records, and personal papers concerning the history of medicine in Hawaii.
